I found the experience to be supportive and caring. My counselling sessions were organised on a regular basis and I was able to talk about my situation in a relaxed and calm environment. It was really useful to be able to express my feelings in a safe place and not feel judged or be told what I needed to do. There was an opportunity to reflect on a very personal and emotive experience which enabled me to begin to make sense of my situation. I hope I can now move forward with some sense of purpose and find some understanding for the future. The environment is very caring overall and I was always treated with respect and thoughtfulness. It was a very positive experience overall and I am grateful I was given the opportunity to use these counselling services at a difficult time in my life.
